CARE INSTRUCTION

Preserved plants and flowers are 100% real and natural.

They can be fragile so we recommend the below in order to ensure the longevity of their beauty and lifespan:

  • Use indoor only.

  • Avoid extended exposure to direct light or sunlight (for example, keep away from windows and shop fronts).

  • Avoid touching, folding or crushing the plants (they will not grow back!)

  • Do not water or place in water.

  • Do not put close to a heat source (such as, a heater or fireplace).

  • Place in an area where humidity is below 70%

A PRESERVED PLANTS’ LIFESPAN

Several factors can strongly influence the longevity of preserved plants and flowers.

Over time, exposure to sunlight, humidity and handling can all impact a preserved plant or flowers’ lifespan. Each preserved plant and flower can react differently over time (just like living plants); some can slightly loose their colour, while others can slightly darken; some can curl, while others might bend.

Our preserved plants and flowers do not have an exact lifespan, however, when cared for correctly they will last and remain beautiful for several years.

THE PRESERVED PROCESS

In order to get the best results, plants and flowers are preserved when they are at their most beautiful part of their life cycle.

The plants and flowers are hand-picked with respect to their environment and natural renewal process. They are sorted and positioned in gutters so that the sap of the plant or flower can naturally evaporate over a few days. They are then immersed in a mixture of vegetable glycerine, a substrate, water, and food colourant.

Before a final quality inspection, they are lightly rinsed and placed to dry.

Now, they are ready to use!

The entire process can take anywhere from 7 to 20 days depending on the size of the plant or flower. Each plant and flower have their own preservation specifics such as time, temperature, type of substrate and preservation mixture.

It is not possible to preserve a plant of flower outside of its’ ‘beautiful’ window of opportunity. This can make stock management quite complex but it is still less complicated than living plants!

Preserved plants, flowers and trees are 100% natural. Plant preservation is a totally ecological process that replaces the natural sap of the flower by a preservative.

Thanks to that natural preserving technique, preserved plants and flowers retain their flexibility and their natural freshness without any maintenance. They require no watering, no special treatment or luminosity. These plants and flowers are ideal for weddings, unique gifts, home decoration, fashion accessories and innovative products.

ORGANIC RAW MATERIALS

The preservation process can be complex but always requires a flawless raw material to begin with. We only work with organic flowers in order to ensure the success of the preservation process.
